WELCOME TO WISE STORIES

My name is Alyson Kowalewsky (she/her) and I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) located in Victoria, BC specializing in counselling/therapy with youth 14+ and adults.

I have over 10+ years experience working in social work, mental health, and substance use settings, including inpatient psychiatric care with youth, and outpatient substance use counselling with adults. 

​

My approach to counselling and therapy is eclectic, meaning that I draw from a variety of modalities and approaches, though I am most influenced by Narrative therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and an approach of justice-doing.

 

I strive to be collaborative, curious, practical, and relational in my approach.
